the knotted look in this piece was just a particular kind of wool I bought that had a knotted/lumpy look. I knitted a squareish piece and had just sewn it into place by hand at first then with the sewing machine so it creates more chunky/textured areas.
& arrr I see I think I know what you meann.
I tried to recreate this sort of technique it looked really scary like someones hair not from the head either lool

actually i'm in the middle of a textiles project; i was thinking of combining your style with natasha wescoat's so yes, if possible, i'd like to use your works as reference but the question is YOU. how do i put the artist name in the section? the examiner would think i was just nicking ppl's work and invented a name like 'bloodyrael', which isn't exactly a real name is it? i hope you're not taking that as an offence but if you prefer to keep your name to yourself, then that's fine, i'll just explain to my teacher
